Dear Anxiety and Depression,
We appreciate you guarding us from all the disappointments in life. Really, it does help. We just think its too much. You tell us that we shouldn’t go outside because its such a dangerous place. We might run into someone we know outside and be forced to talk to them. How we might do something stupid and look like an idiot. How we wish to just die on the spot. The thing is, we actually want to experience things like that. we am so afraid we will do something foolish, that we don’t bother doing anything with our lives. we also hate how mopey we've become. we use to be so happy before guys came. we use to be so happy. we no longer enjoy the things that once made us so happy. We miss hanging with our friends. Its not fair. So, what we am trying say is, we want to be “normal,” whatever that is. So we was wondering, could you leave us alone for a bit? we want to decide whether we want to hide from this world after we have experienced it. So for now, we no longer need your "help," and we will no longer listen to you.
Love,
Those who can standup by themselves
It does not always require the help of others to save yourself. It is possible to force it out of your system. Those who suffer from anxiety or depression often have trouble starting/finishing projects. Even if they once enjoyed it with no equal, it becomes a challenge. Some say it is because they become a perfectionist. If this is true, there is one thing that you need to accept to improve upon yourself. Accept that the work you don will not be perfect, that the things you do will not always turn out so great, that you yourself are allowed to make mistakes. There is nothing wrong with being human. Mistakes are human and no one should make you feel bad for that. You should also refrain from living someone else's life in the hopes of becoming a better person. You need to be yourself and do your own amazing accomplishments. You will do fine.
